Huawei nova 8 and 8i are now available in the Philippines

Following the pre-order period earlier this month, Huawei has now released its new mid-range nova 8 and nova 8i smartphones in the Philippines.

Specifically, the nova 8 and 8i are officially available starting today, August 27, through the official online Huawei Store, Lazada, Shopee. The phones are also available in Huawei Experience Stores nationwide. As a bonus, buyers of either phone will get exclusive freebies until August 31, 2021, while supplies last.

The nova 8i is available in Moonlight Silver, Interstellar Blue, or Starry Black for PHP 13,999. Each purchase will come with freebies such as a Huawei Wireless Charging Lamp worth PHP 2,499 and Huawei Cloud storage with benefits up to PHP 2,038. Meawnhile, the nova 8 is available in Blush Gold for PHP 19,999, and it will also come with the same set of freebies!

In case you missed their announcement, the two new nova phones feature 64MP main shooters, as well as 66W fast charging. The phones do differ in processors as the nova 8 is powered by Kirin 820E processor while the nova 8i uses a Snapdragon 662 chipset. Along with chipset, the nova phones also have different screen sizes; the nova 8 has a 6.57 inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate while the nova 8i uses a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate.
