Seagate unveils Star Wars-inspired Beskar Ingot storage devices

Seagate and Lucasfilm have teamed up for the Star Wars Beskar Ingot storage device collection to celebrate The Mandalorian.

Seagate and Lucasfilm have teamed up for the Star Wars Beskar Ingot storage device collection to celebrate “the legends of the Star Wars Mandalorian galaxy.”

If you aren’t familiar with the Star Wars extended universe, or if you haven’t seen The Mandalorian series, Beskar Steel is the material that’s used to craft the iconic armor of Mandalorians. In the series, main character Din Djarin used Beskar Ingots that he collected to improve his armor.

The designs of these new Seagate drives are inspired by the Beskar Ingots from The Mandalorian, complete with the Imperial stamp.

First up, we have teh Star Wars Beskar Ingot external 2TB HDD. This external drive will be available in the US this holiday season for USD 99.99 (around PHP 5,000).

Next up, we have teh Star Wars Beskar Ingot PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD which will be available in 500GB (USD 159.99 / PHP 8,050) and 2TB (USD 259.99 / PHP 13,090) capacities.

Rounding out the line up is the Star Wars Beskar Ingot SATA SSD in 1TB (USD 159.99 / PHP 8,050) and 2TB (USD 259.99 / PHP 13,090).

While these Star Wars-inspired Seagate drives are confirmed to release in the US this holiday season, there’s no word yet on if these will release in the Philippines.
