Here is the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for January 2022

Following the December lineup which featured several interesting games, Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus free games lineup for January 2022.

Unlike the previous month where 4 games were available for free, this month only has three titles, but it is quite a lineup. After all, the likes of Persona 5 Strikers and Dirt 5 are available for free, and the lineup is rounded out by Deep Rock Galactic.

Persona 5 Strikers – PS4

Available on PS4 (and on PS5 via backwards compatibility), Persona 5 Strikers is the highlight of the January 2022 PlayStation Plus free lineup. This game serves as a narrative sequel to Persona 5, but instead of being a turn-based RPG, this Strikers is more of a spin-off with its Musou gameplay.

Dirt 5 – PS4 and PS5

Next up is Dirt 5, the latest entry in the Dirt off-road racing game series from Codemasters. Available on both PS4 and PS5, Dirt 5 features a ton of content, including over 70 routes across 10 locations. The game also has lots of modes to choose from, including a Career mode, four-player split-screen, online multiplayer, Playgrounds creator mode, and more.

Deep Rock Galactic – PS4 and PS5

Finally, we have Deep Rock Galactic for PS4 and PS5. This is a 1-4 player co-op FPS where players take on the role of space Dwarves as they face off against endless hordes of alien monsters. The game features procedurally-generated maps, as well as destructible environments.
