Following the teaser last week, realme has just launched the 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ midrange smartphones in the Philippines, and their price starts at PHP 16,990.
This new midrange lineup from realme promises to bring improved cameras and performance compared to the realme 8 series, all while having fast 5G connectivity.
First up, we have the realme 9 Pro. This phone packs a Snapdragon 695 processor, a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery. The 9 Pro also packs a 64MP f/1.8 wide + 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide + 2MP f/2.4 macro triple camera setup.
Meanwhile, the 9 Pro+ has some similarities to the 9 Pro, with both phones having the same Android 12 OS and similar color options. Though the 9 Pro has some key differences, including a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G Processor, a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 4,500mAh battery. The 9 Pro+ also has a triple camera setup, but with a 50MP main shooter instead.

realme 9 Pro, 9 Pro+ Philippines Price and Availability
The realme 9 Pro (8GB+128GB) will be available for in the Philippines for PHP 16,990 while the realme 9 Pro+ (8GB+256GB) will retail for PHP 23,990.
As an early-bird offer exclusively on Lazada, you can get PHP 2,000 off the realme 9 Pro (PHP 14,990), and PHP 2,500 of on the 9 Pro+ (PHP 21,490) when you purchase via the realme Official Store on Lazada from March 16-18.
For availability, the realme 9 Pro will be up for pre-order from March 16 to 25, 2022. Each pre-order will come with a free realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker, realme Type-C Superdart Cable, and realme Mobile Game Finger Sleeves. The phone and the freebies can be claimed from March 26 to 27.
Meanwhile, the 9 Pro+ will be available for purchase tomorrow. Each purchase will come with a free realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker, realme Cooling Back Clip Neo and one year’s worth of extended warranty when you buy from March 16 to 20.
