Mass Effect Legendary Edition is FREE until July 13

Here's how to get it!

In celebration of Amazon Prime day that is happening on July 12-13, players can claim the remastered versions of the well-received Mass Effect series by Bioware, specifically the recently released Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Yes, you heard that right. You can claim the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for the price of nada, zero, zilch. But you have to act quick as this promo ends on July 13.

Here’s how to get it:

  1. You have to have an Amazon account that is currently subscribed to Amazon Prime.

This is made even easier if you haven’t started on getting Amazon Prime yet as you can get it up and running via it’s free trial membership. Just sign up for the free trial and just cancel recurring payments under your account. Something that you might have done on other subscription services. Yes, you know how this works.

2. You also need to make an EA account that you need to link to your Amazon Prime subscription.

3. Once you have an Amazon Prime membership, you can head over to Amazon Gaming’s home page and claim your free game, which they appropriately termed “freeloading”.

There are also a lot of free games on offer there as of this writing like King of Fighters 2002 and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, to name a few.

Again, you better act quick as this will only last until the whole day of July 13. Mass Effect is widely considered to be one of the best video games ever made so there’s is absolutely no reason not to pass this up!
