New details revealed for Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming ‘Universes Beyond’ set for Warhammer 40,000
4 new Sol Rings based on each faction!
During Wizards Presents 2022, game publisher Wizards of the Coast revealed upcoming products for their Universes Beyond product line. For those unaware, Universes Beyond is a way for fans to play Magic: The Gathering beyond Magic’s fantasy planes with cards representing iconic fictional settings and characters extending in other forms of pop culture. Previously they revealed sets featuring iconic settings and characters from Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 40,000, which the latter releasing October 7 this year.
Speaking of Warhammer 40,000, during the Wizards Presents 2022 livestream they previewed some amazing artwork for the set, which you can see below:

In addition to four commander decks, four new art of the iconic card Sol Ring are themed after each faction representing The Imperium of Man, Tyranids, Necrons, and Chaos. Additionally, the cards in the collector’s edition of each commander deck have a new Surge Foil treatment.
The global release of Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks is October 7, 2022. This release date will include both the regular and Collector’s Edition Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks.
