Pinoy Gaming Festival returns in 2022 this month to celebrate local gaming
It's been a couple of years since the last PGF, and finally, Pinoy Gaming Festival is back for 2022 to celebrate the Filipino gaming scene.
It’s been a couple of years since the last PGF, and finally, Pinoy Gaming Festival is back for 2022 to celebrate the Filipino gaming scene.
Happening on August 20-21, 2022, this years’ PGF will feature a series of tournaments, showmatches, meet and greets, and special activities that are tailored to the Pinoy gaming community.
For starters, PGF 2022 will feature big booths from Tencent, Acer, and JBL; with parnter phone brand realme and gaming chair partner BraZen also participating in the event.
For fighting game fans, PGF 2022 will also host the Road to Rev Major 2022 where players are invited to show off their Tekken 7 and Guilty Gear Strive (GGST) skills. Winners of the Road to REV Major 2022 at PGF will get to participate in the REV Major 2022 main event.
Gamers will also be in for a treat as Tencent’s new game Tower of Fantasy is heading to PGF. At the event, an experience zone will be set up so that players can experience the new RPG.
PGF will also have streamer zones where attendees will have the chance to be a streamer. There will also be free play areas so that everyone can experience the game, as well as a photobooth area.
On top of these, gaming content creators from Rumble Royale will also be attending the event, giving fans an opportunity to interact with their favorite streamers and players.
Finally, prizes and other freebies will also be up for grabs for attendees, especially for those who attend the event early.
The Pinoy Gaming Festival 2022 is happening on August 20-21, 2022, at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia. If you can’t make it to the event, PGF 2022 will also be streamed live at the PGF Facebook page.
