PlayStation has announced that the PS5 is getting a price increase in select regions due to high inflation rates and global economic factors.

Specifically, the high global inflation rates, currency trends, and other issues have pushed PlayStation to increase prices in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Canada. Though so far, there will be no price increase in the United States.

    • PS5 Digital Edition – JPY 49,478
  • China
    • PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – CNY 4,299
    • PS5 Digital Edition – CNY 3,499 yuan
  • Australia

While the price increase is happening in several countries, there’s no word yet on if the PS5 will get a price increase in the Philippines.
