After revealing the innovative Zenbook Fold, ASUS recently launched the Zenbook S 13 OLED (UM3502) in the Philippines.
This latest laptop from ASUS has a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display, and it weighs just 1 kilogram. Thanks to this, this Zenbook is a true premium ultraportable. On top of the reveal, ASUS also revealed its new collaboration with homegrown brand Zarah Juan.
As mentioned above, the highlight feature of the laptop is its 13-inch OLED screen. This display is a 2.8K HDR Dolby Vision screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio for more vertical screen real estate. The screen is also PANTONE Validated, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified, and TÜV Rheinland-certified.
For its chassis, the laptop is built with durable magnesium-aluminum alloy that’s both stylish and well-built. As with most ASUS laptops, the laptop passes the MIL-STD 810H military standard.
Now we move on to its internals. The Zenbook S 13 OLED is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U Mobile Processor, AMD Radeon mobile graphics, and 16GB of RAM. The laptop also packs up to a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
This latest generation AMD Ryzen CPU promises to give great performance for daily tasks and for productivity. On top of this, the CPU should also be more power-efficient; coupled with the high-capacity 67Wh battery, the laptop should last for hours of use on a single charge.
If you do need to charge, the Zenbook S 13 OLED has fast-charge support, meaning it can charge to 60% capacity in as little as 49 minutes.
On top of these, the new Zenbook features the latest WiFi 6E which promises to be even faster than the previous-gen Wi-Fi standard.
Other features of the laptop include ASUS Antibacterial Guard protection for it surface, ASUS AI Noise-Cancelation Technology for better voice call quality in online meetings, and USB-C ports that support Power Delivery.
ASUS also unveiled its collaboration with Zarah Juan to develop a limited edition, sustainable, locally made bag that’s made with local materials by artisan communities in Bulacan and Zamboanga City.
Each purchase of the Zenbook S 13 OLED from September 15 to October 31, 2022 will come with a chance to win the limited-edition Zarah Juan Zen Tote (that’s worth PHP 8,500).
The Zenbook S 13 OLED (UM5302) is available in in ASUS Concept Stores and authorized resellers today with a starting price of PHP 63,995.
