vivo officially launches the vivo Y16 in the Philippines

After teasing the phone’s launch a few days ago, vivo has now released the Y16 in the Philippines, the brand’s latest budget-friendly device.

While this new phone from vivo is priced at below PHP 10k, vivo did not skimp out on features as its specs can rival that of some pricier devices.

For starters, this new vivo device packs a large 5,000mAh battery, meaning it should easily last for a day or more on a single charge. On top of this, the phone is powered by a Helio P35 processor with 4GB of RAM as well as 1GB of extended RAM (vivo’s feature which lets the phone “borrow” memory from the internal storage). Speaking of internal storage, the phone has 128GB of ROM that’s expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.

Other features of the phone include a 6.51-inch HD+ display, as well as a dual 13MP+2MP rear camera setup.

The vivo Y16 is now available in the Philippines for PHP 8,499 for the 4GB+128GB variant. vivo also confirmed that a 4GB+64GB variant is coming to the PH soon.

The Y16 can be purchased via vivo’s official website, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok shop and through vivo’s offline stores and kiosks nationwide starting today September 17, 2022. As an early bird promo for the initial batch of buyers of the vivo Y16 through vivo’s online stores, a free DITO Simcard and FOOMEE QA05 will be up for grabs until supplies last.
