After launching the Mate 40 last year, Huawei is finally gearing up to launch the new Mate 50 Pro in the Philippines.
The confirmation of its PH launch was made just recently and it follows the phone’s launch in China. At its home country, the phone was a big hit as reservations surpassed 2.45 million units ahead of launch. During the first sale in September, the phone sold out in just 10 seconds. Following this, long lines of eager customers in front of Huawei stores can be seen as fans were eager to get their hands on Huawei’s latest flagship.
This new flagship Mate device from Huawei features a premium design with a distinctive camera module which houses the phone’s 50MP main camera, 64MP telephoto, and 13MP ultrawide. At the front meanwhile is a 12MP ultrawide selfie cam.
Powering the phone is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 8GB of RAM. The Mate 50 Pro also packs a large 4700 mAh battery with 66W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
Finally, the phone’s display is a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 1212 x 2616 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
