After its return to the Philippines this year, HONOR recently teased a possible PH release of the Magic Vs foldable smartphone.

The Magic Vs was revealed in China just a few weeks ago, and it’s an impressive foldable phone that’s just 12.9mm thin when folded and only weighs just 261 grams. Thanks to this, the phone is incredibly portable. Plus, not only is it easy to bring with you anywhere, it also promises to be a sturdy device as it’s rated to withstand over 400,000 folds.

As for its display, the Magic Vs features a 7.9-inch internal display for a tablet-like experience. And when folded, it has a 6.45-inch display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 90% screen-to-body ratio to make it convenient to use like your typical smartphone.

Powering the Magic Vs is a triple-camera system comprising a 54MP IMX800 Main Camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide & Macro Main Camera, and an 8MP 3X Optical Zoom Camera. The phone is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Finally, it comes with 66W Wired HONOR SuperCharge that can let it charge up to 100 percent in just 46 minutes.

“We are thrilled to introduce our next-generation foldable flagship, the HONOR Magic Vs, which packs groundbreaking innovations and exceptional user experience into an elegant and stylish design,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President for Marketing. “The HONOR Magic Vs will be our very first foldable flagship to debut in overseas markets and we are confident that it will deliver huge advancements, transforming how people all around the world use their smartphones.”

The Magic Vs is set to release in select countries soon. Right now, there’s no word yet on a release for the foldable in the Philippines. Though there is a chance given HONOR’s local representatives have introduced the device. So fingers-crossed it does get released so that we have more foldable phone options in the country.
