HONOR is kicking off 2023 with an interesting new mid-range phone with the launch of the HONOR X9a 5G in the Philippines.

While this new phone is priced at well below PHP 20k, the phone has an impressive list of features, the highlight being the large 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display. This is interesting given that curved displays are typically found only in top-of-the-line phones.

The phone’s display also promises to be sturdy. Even if you drop the phone display-first, it won’t crack or get scratched (as we’ve proven in our drop test).

Meanwhile, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor with 8GB of RAM, and it has a large 5100mAH battery with 40W fast charge support. As for its cameras, the phone features a 64MP f/1.8 main + 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide + 2MP f/2.4 macro triple rear camera setup, as well as a 16MP f/2.5 wide front camera.
