Just a month before the release of the much-awaited Resident Evil 4 Remake, we get our third, and probably last feature-length trailer that shows quite a bit more content that sheds a bit of light on some speculation, and showcases what looks like a total shift in the original story.

The two and a half-minute Resident Evil 4 Remake trailer features more footage from the infamous castle, shows us the hooded cultist ganados, creepy Lord Osmund Saddler, and confirmation that Krauser will indeed appear in the game. No news on whether the dog in the village will, so we’ll hold onto Capcom for that.

We see a lot of the original story beats, but one particular part stands out. Our favorite charming Spaniard, Luis Sera, seemingly makes a more extended appearance, fighting alongside Leon in the mines, and even towards the later stages of the game. Are we getting Sheva 2.0? Will Leon kick boulders this time? We’ll find out in a month.

Lastly, a very quick teaser of The Mercenaries mini-game, which, hopefully, will be baked into the remake and not some DLC that requires additional purchase. A playable demo will be dropping pretty soon as well. We suggest you watch the trailer yourself, as the more eagle-eyed fans will likely catch a few more details. Nonetheless, the hype is real–so give us the dog, Capcom

The Resident Evil 4 Remake is set for launch on March 23, 2023.
