Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S23 series, and it has also revealed the lineup’s price and availability in the Philippines.

Much like the previous S series phones from previous years, the S23 series is composed of a base, a plus, and an ultra model.

First up, we have the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the highest-end model of the family. As with last year’s S22 Ultra, this new phone is basically the new Galaxy Note as it has squared off edges for its 6.8-inch QHD+ Edge AMOLED display. It also features an embedded S Pen, making it the true Galaxy Note successor.

Powering it is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which promises to be even more powerful than last year’s flagship SoC from Qualcomm. This is paired with 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Perhaps the highlight feature of the phone though is its camera setup. Samsung packed the S23 Ultra with a whopping 200MP main camera that’s complemented by a 12MP ultrawide and two 10MP telephoto cameras (3x and 10x). It also features a 12MP front camera.

Thanks to its 200MP main shooter, the S23 Ultra promises to deliver the best smartphone shooting experience. The camera is complemented by OIS, 8K video capability, object-based AI for photography, and up to 100x digital zoom.

Next, we have the Galaxy S23+. Sure, it might not have “Ultra” in its name, but it should still be a worthy flagship based on its specs sheet.

As with the Ultra, it runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, complete with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also features a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life-wise, the phone should last for a while on a single charge as it has a 4,700mAh battery.

For its cameras, the phone has a 50MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 10MP telephoto triple rear camera setup, as well as a 12MP front shooter.

Finally, we have the base Galaxy S23. Despite being the smallest, this phone still promises a true flagship experience as it also comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for top-of-the-line performance. It also features a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 3,900mAh battery.

The phone’s camera setup is also the same as the bigger S23+. As with previous S series phones, the S23 is essentially a smaller version of the + model.
