ASUS unveils the GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua OC Edition GPU

After previously collaborating on an RTX 3070, ASUS and Noctua have once again teamed up for a special GeForce RTX 4080 Noctua Edition.

This new GeForce RTX 4080 GPU features two Noctua fans with the brand’s signature brown and beige color scheme, as well as an ASUS custom-built vapor chamber. Aside from being a distinctive GPU design-wise, it also promises to be the quietest air-cooled RTX 4080 on the market.

Specifically, this graphics card has Noctua NF-A12x25 fans that move air over a massive heatsink that’s developed in partnership with ASUS and Noctua. While this GPU promises excellent gaming performance and thermals, you will need a good power supply to keep it running.

Noctua is one of the most well-known brands in the PC space when it comes to cooling, with many PC enthusiasts being loyal to the company’s lineup of tried-and-tested fans. While also available in other colors, Noctua fans typically feature the company’s signature brown and beige color combo, meaning you can likely spot a Noctua fan-equipped PC from far away.

For gamers who have rigs with Noctua fans or for fans of the brand in general, this GPU is a great fit, so long as you have the budget of course, not to mention the space. After all, an RTX 4080 doesn’t come cheap, and this particular model is a big boy.
