OPPO A78 5G Philippines price and availability announced

Following the release of its new foldable, OPPO has launched the new OPPO A78 5G in the Philippines with a fairly competitive price tag.

This new phone features a stylish design that’s dubbed the OPPO Glow design. What makes it interesting is that it has a shiny look while still being fingerprint-proof and scratch-resistant.

Style isn’t the only reason to get this though as the phone promises to deliver great photography capabilities thanks to its 50MP AI Main Camera that’s complemented by a 2MP Depth Camera. Meanwhile, at the front is an 8MP selfie shooter. Both the front and rear cameras promise to capture quality photos in most lighting conditions.

Powering the A78 is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor that’s paired with an extended RAM feature. This should mean the phone will perform fast and snappily for both everyday use and gaming.

It should also last for over a day of use thanks to its 5,000mAh battery. To complement this battery, OPPO packed the A78 with 33W SuperVOOC which will charge the phone to 100% in just a bit over an hour.

Finally, the phone has a 6.56-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, meaning it’ll be fast and responsive for everyday productivity. The screen’s size should also make it a good partner for watching movies and shows while on the go.

The OPPO A78 5G is now available in the Philippines for PHP 14,999. Specifically, the phone is available in all OPPO authorized stores nationwide.
