Wrestling fans will be happy to know that Wrestlemania 39 will be streamed live on Disney+ this weekend in the Philippines.
Specifically, WrestleMania Goes Hollywood will stream on Disney+ on Sunday and Monday, April 2-3, 2023, beginning at 8 AM. With this stream, you can watch the following matches:
- Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes
- United States Champion Austin Theory against John Cena
- Seth “Freakin” Rollin versus social media megastar Logan Paul
- SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair against Rhea Ripley
- Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair against Asuka
- Rey Mysterio against his son Dominik Mysterion
This isn’t the first time that a WWE PPV event was streamed on Disney+ as the streaming platform was also the partner for WWE’s other recent events. Though the previous broadcast was criticized by some for its low max resolution, so here’s hoping that Disney+ has a full HD stream this time.
The event will also be streamed on Disney+ in other countries as part of WWE’s partnership with Disney for select regions.
WrestleMania is the biggest annual pay-per-view and livestreaming event from the WWE, and it has consistently been one of the most-watched wrestling events worldwide.
WrestleMania 39 will be available for Filipino fans exclusively on Disney+. Meanwhile, the event itself will take place on SoFi Stadium, California, on April 2-3.
