Disney+ shares official trailer for Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion

Nick Fury is making a comeback in the new Marvel Studios series ‘Secret Invasion’ which just got a new trailer ahead of its Disney+ premiere.

This upcoming series is an espionage thriller that follows Nick Fury as he attempts to save the world from a dangerous invasion from the shapeshifting Skrulls. These Skrulls should be familiar to longtime Marvel fans as they were a focal point in the Kree–Skrull War storyline. Meanwhile, MCU fans should also be familiar with them for their role in the Captain Marvel movie.

To give you a better idea of what to expect, the series’ premise is described as:

In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion,” set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

While Samuel L. Jackson is the show’s biggest draw, this new Marvel series features a stacked cast featuring lots of popular actors. These include Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.

Secret Invasion is coming exclusively to Disney+ on June 21, 2023.
