Season 3 might take a while to release, but at least there’s the KonoSuba Explosion spinoff featuring Megumin, and here’s where to watch it.

Officially titled “KonoSuba – An Explosion on This Wonderful World,” this new anime is based on the light novel spin-off of the same name starring the explosion-loving Megumin.

Similar to the KonoSuba anime movie, this series is set in the Crimson Demon Village, though its story serves as a prequel to the main anime series as it follows Megumin’s origin story.

Where to Watch KonoSuba – An Explosion on This Wonderful World in Asia

Given the often fragmented nature of streaming releases in Asia, it can be a bit difficult for fans in the region to look for where to watch a certain anime. For KonoSuba fans, the Megumin spin-off’s streaming rights in Southeast Asia is held by Medialink.

Because of this, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World is available to stream now on Prime Video and Bilibili in select Asian countries, including the Philippines (as we can confirm). A new episode of the anime is released on those platforms every week.

Meanwhile, Ani-One also streams the anime on its YouTube channel, though it is only available with an Ani-One Asia Ultra subscription

Where to watch the Megumin anime spinoff in the West

For fans outside Asia, it’s a bit easier to find out where to watch it as the KonoSuba spinoff is officially streaming in Crunchyroll. This is expected considering that the first two seasons are also available on the platform.

Specifically, the KonoSuba explosion spinoff is on Crunchyroll in the following regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe (excluding France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain), Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

An Explosion on This Wonderful World follows Megumin’s younger days, and it specifically chronicles her time as a student as well as how she discovers explosion magic.

The series’ premise is described as:

This feisty young wizard will stop at nothing to master the spell that saved her life: Explosion! Megumin, the “Greatest Genius of the Crimson Magic Clan,” has chosen to devote her studies to the powerful offensive magic used by her mysterious savior.
