Ahead of Computex 2023, Acer unveiled the Swift Edge 16, a new laptop for working professionals powered by the latest Ryzen processors.

These laptops are made for professionals who need good performance from their work partner, so Acer packed the Swift Edge with AMD Ryzen 7040 Series processors and up to AMD Radeon 780M graphics. Some models with select processors also pack AMD Ryzen AI that’s made for AI workloads.

Along with its all AMD configurations, the laptop also has up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. This means the laptop should perform well for most workloads.

As for its display, the Swift Edge 16 packs a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and support for 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. This means the laptop will have good display output for both work and media consumption.

And for design, the Swift Edge 16 has an ultra-thin and light magnesium alloy chassis that’s only 12.95 mm (0.51 inches) thick and weighs only 1.23 kg (2.71 lbs). Thanks to this, the laptop should be portable, even with its large 16-inch screen.

Pricing and availability of the new Acer Swift Edge 16 will be revealed soon and will vary depending on the region.
