Hogwarts Legacy is finally available on PS4 and Xbox One

Following its release on the latest console generation and PC, Hogwarts Legacy is finally available on PS4 and Xbox One.

While the game was initially released on PS5, Series X|S, and PC, developer Avalanche Software and publisher Warner Bros. Games confirmed that the Hogwarts Legacy will be released on last-gen consoles.

Finally, the game is officially available on PS4 and Xbox One. The delay in the game’s release for last-gen consoles was to give the developers extra time to polish these versions. After all, more optimization and polishing time is needed for a game of this scale to run smoothly on last-gen hardware.

Still, despite the wait, this is good news for players who have yet to upgrade to a new console, especially as the PS5 has only recently become widely available with no need for pre-orders.

Hogwarts Legacy invites players to embark on an epic journey as a fifth-year student at Hogwarts, gifted with a rare ability to tap into ancient, powerful magic. Guided by the Wizard’s Field Guide and unique instruction from professors and other characters, fans will uncover a compelling storyline filled with thrilling challenges and mysteries.

The new Harry Potter game is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will then be released on Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023.
