While there was no new episode last week, the Oshi no Ko YouTube channel shared an official Pieyon dance video featuring a real bodybuilder.

Specifically, this new video features an recreation of the hilarious Pieyon dance video from Oshi no Ko episode 5, complete with a bodybuilder that looks exactly like how you’d imagine Piyeon would look like in real life.

Aside from this real-life Piyeon, the video also features Yurie Igoma, the voice actress of Ruby Hoshino in the anime.

Check out the video here:

The video might not be a 1:1 recreation of the one in the anime, but it’s still impressive, especially given how accurate the bodybuilder looks as Piyeon.

A bit over halfway through the video, the Pieyon in the video is revealed to be a popular Japanese bodybuilding YouTuber Naotaka Yokokawa (who also collaborated previously with the How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? anime). This makes him the closest that we can get to Pieyon in real life.

This isn’t the first time that the anime went the extra mile for promotion. Previously, they shared a cute dance video featuring Ai Hoshino voice actress Rie Takahashi, as well as a behind-the-scenes documentary series with English subtitles.

New episodes of Oshi no Ko are released every Wednesday on Netflix and Bilibili in Asia. Meanwhile, here’s where you can get up to date on the manga:
