OWO unveils Assassin’s Creed Mirage haptic feedback shirt
No pants included though.
Ahead of the game’s release, OWO revealed its new haptic feedback shirt featuring a design based on Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
In case you’re unfamiliar, OWO is a new company that introduced the “haptic gaming system” that’s essentially a zip-up shirt with various haptic feedback modules and electrodes all over it. By wearing it, players will be able to feel various feedback while playing supported games.
Think of it like the DualSense’s haptic feedback, but for your body, meaning you’ll feel all kinds of sensations on selected titles. Plus, it’s a wireless system that can be controlled via a PC or mobile app, and it promises to deliver up to 8 hours of battery life.
Though the haptic feedback shirt is available for a range of titles, OWO unveiled its first design collaboration, and it’s with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the upcoming AC title from Ubisoft.
Though the Mirage version doesn’t come with exclusive haptic features, it does have a design that’s inspired by the game’s Baghdad setting. As a bonus, each set comes with a copy of the game PlayStation, Xbox, or PC.
Right now, there’s no word yet on a price for this version of the OWO system. Though the OWO haptic feedback system Founder’s Edition has a price tag of EUR 499 (around USD 560 or PHP 30,460), so the Mirage edition will likely have a similar price tag.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release on October 12, 2023 for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
