Following its release in the US, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem finally has an official Philippines cinema release date.
Specifically, this new TMNT movie will release in PH cinemas on August 23, 2023.
Directed by Jeff Rowe (of The Mitchells vs. the Machines), this new TMNT movie is the seventh feature film in the long-running franchise, and it opened in the US on August 2, and it received praise from critics, with the film having a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes as of this article’s writing.

While the film promises to be a great watch for long-time TMNT fans, it should also be an accessible entry point for those who didn’t grow up watch the iconic series.
The film’s story is described as:
“In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
This new film features a star-studded cast, including Jackie Chan, Rose Byrne, Hannibal Buress, John Cena, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.
As for the turtles, the film stars Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr, Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon.
