ASUS Business unveils the ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403)

The new ExpertBook B9 OLED is the world's lightest 14" OLED business laptop.

ASUS recently unveiled the ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403), the latest addition to its 2023 ExpertBook Series lineup and the world’s first lightest 14″ OLED business laptop.

While its’ thin and light form factor is a highlight, the new ExpertBook B9 OLED also has other intriguing features, including an OLED screen, a 13th-gen Intel Core processor, a wealth of enterprise-grade security features, and more.

To start, the laptop has an impressive 14” 2.8K WQXGA (2880 x 1800 resolution) OLED screen which should provide vibrant colors and deep blacks. For productivity, the laptop’s screen also comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio which gives users more vertical space. Plus, the laptop can be used for hours comfortably as it has low blue-light emissions.

Powering the new ExpertBook is an Intel Core i7-1355U processor which should give it good performance for most work-related uses.

To further aid in productivity, the laptop has a wealth of I/O ports, including a pair of Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm combo jack. The touchpad should also help with day-to-day work as it is 26.8% larger than previous models.

For video conferencing, the laptop packs an ASUS AiSense webcam as well as AI-powered two-way noise-canceling technology. This should make the laptop a good partner for online meetings.

The ExpertBook B9 OLED also has enterprise-grade security features, including support for the Intel vPro which enables remotely managed automated troubleshooting and advanced virtualization. It also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor and an infrared (IR) camera for secure and hassle-free biometric protection. Plus, it has an optional TPM 2.0 security chip, as well as an NFC reader which can be used to unlock the laptop via an authorized card.

Finally, the ExpertBook B9 OLED is one of the lightest 14-inch business laptops in the world, weighing at just 990g. Despite the light weight, ASUS promises that it’s a durable device as it endures tests in the US military-grade MIL-STD-810H standard along with in-house ASUS durability tests.
