Honkai: Star Rail is coming to PS5 on October 11
It won't be long now until Honkai: Star Rail arrives on PS5.
After much anticipation, the PS5 version of Honkai: Star Rail is finally going to be released on October 11, 2023!
As previously announced, Honkai: Star Rail is officially coming to the current-gen PlayStation console. Its release date was announced only recently though via a new trailer at PlayStation’s State of Play.
This trailer is narrated by the mysterious Stellaron Hunter, Kafka, and it shows gameplay footage from the PS5. Plus, the trailer details the enhanced Simulated Universe: Swarm Disaster.

The game’s PS5 version promises to take advantage of the PS5’s hardware to deliver a more visually pleasing experience. Plus, PS5 players can take advantage of the game’s multi-platform integration, including cross-save and cross-play functionality. This means PS5 players can seamlessly transition between playing on their console to the other versions on PC, iOS, and Android.
Honkai: Star Rail is the latest game from HoYoverse, the developer behind the mega hit Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. Star Rail features similar gameplay elements to Genshin Impact, though it has a science fantasy setting that it shares with Honkai Impact 3rd. As with HoYoverse’s other titles, this game is free-to-play with gacha elements.
