PS5 ‘Slim’ gets official price tag in the Philippines

Following its initial reveal, PlayStation finally announced the price of the new PS5 “Slim” model in the Philippines. Previously, only the prices for selected countries like the US, UK, and Japan were confirmed.

Finally, PlayStation announced that the slimmer PS5 model will be priced in the Philippines at PHP 30,790. That’s the same price as the original PS5 model right now on authorized retailers.

Take note, the PS5 “Slim” with the Blu-ray disc drive will be the only variant to get an official PH release. This is also the case with the previous Digital Edition which was not officially released in the country.

The slimmer PS5 model shares the same style as the original variant, though it is much slimmer and lighter. Though the tradeoff is that it only comes with a horizontal stand inside the box. You’ll need to buy a separate vertical stand if you want to place it in an upright position. This stand will be priced in the Philippines at PHP 1,690.
