The vivo School Tour 2023 kicks off at Lyceum University of the Philippines
The vivo School Tour will continue in five more universities this month.
vivo recently kicked off the first leg of its School Tour 2023 at the Lyceum University of the Philippines on September 29, 2023.
As the official smartphone partner of the NBA, vivo’s School Tour is centered around basketball. Specifically, the school tour features 3-on-3 basketball challenges across various universities in Metro Manila.
The first stop at Lyceum University of the Philippines featured six teams that competed in the 3-on-3 challenge. At the end of the event, two teams won, and they will represent the school at the upcoming Grand Finals this November.
Aside from basketball matches, the event also features TikTok dance competitions for other attendees. Plus, vivo highlighted its vivo Club platform where students can sign up to receive various perks and benefits. These include exclusive internship opportunities, invitations to events, and more.
“Our goal is to bring together university students from all courses, and use the power of sports to improve their well-being,” said vivo Assistant Brand Marketing Manager Glenn Chiu. “Today’s vivo 3 on 3 basketball challenge is about fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and personal growth.”
The vivo School Tour 2023 will continue in five other universities on the following dates:
- University of the Philippines Diliman on October 7
- Jose Rizal University on October 12
- National University on October 18
- De La Salle University College of St. Benilde on October 25
- De La Salle University on November 8
The winning teams from each school will face off in the grand finals which is happening on November 18 and 19, 2023, at the Music Hall in SM Mall of Asia.
