Metaphor Re:Fantazio gets new trailer, reveals voice cast

Metaphor Re:Fantazio also got a new visual featuring designs by Shigenori Soejima.

Following its reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase back in June, Atlus shared a new trailer for the upcoming JRPG Metaphor Re:Fantazio at The Game Awards 2023. Along with the trailer, Atlus shared a new official visual for the game and announced its main voice cast members.

In case you missed its reveal, this upcoming game by Atlus is being developed by Studio Zero. Meanwhile, at the helm is Katsura Hashino, the director of Persona 3, 4, and 5,

This new trailer gives fans a better idea of what to expect. Plus, it features designs by acclaimed artists Kazuma Koda and Ikuto Yamashita, and features the voices of the all-star cast.

Meanwhile, here’s a look at the game’s new key visual featuring designs by Shigenori Soejima, the renowned artist who is best known for his work on the Persona series:

This new visual is also featured on the game’s official website which has been given a big makeover recently.

Metaphor Re:Fantazio Japanes Voice Cast Announced

As for the game’s voice cast, four voice actors have been revealed so far. Anime fans will no doubt be familiar with the cast as these four have all voiced many notable characters in anime movies and shows.

Here are the four main cast members along with the characters that they voice:

Protagonist – Voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer)

Gallica – Voiced by Sumire Morohoshi (Emma in The Promised Neverland)

Strohl – Voiced by Kensho Ono (Giorno Giovanna in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind)

Hulkenberg – Voiced by Saori Hayami (Yor Forger in Spy x Family)


Metaphor Re:Fantazio will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4 and Windows PC in Fall 2024.
