Eddy Gordo is coming Tekken 8 in Season 1 DLC
Eddy Gordo has a striking new look in Tekken 8.
With the game’s release just a bit over a week away, a new Tekken 8 trailer was released, revealing that Eddy Gordo is coming in the Season 1 DLC.
To hype up the game’s release, Bandai Namco shared the official opening movie of Tekken 8 which featured a wide array of new and returning characters, including Reina who has quickly become a fan-favorite. Along with the opening movie, the video also featured a teaser for the Season 1 DLC’s first character.

The highlight of the new video is no doubt the Season 1 DLC teaser as it confirms that Eddy Gordo will come to Tekken 8 in the game’s first DLC.
Eddy is shown in the video doing his signature moves, all while having an eye-catching new look. While he won’t be part of the game’s launch roster, fans should be happy to know that Eddy will be in this upcoming Tekken game. After all, Eddy has long been a favorite of many since his debut back in Tekken 3.
He will be the first of four characters to be added in the Season 1 DLC, though there’s no word yet on which other characters will be part of the Season 1 batch.
Tekken 8 will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 26, 2024.
