Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire gets Philippines cinema release date

Frozen Empire is a direct sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and it's coming to PH cinemas in April.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire just got an official trailer from Columbia Pictures, as well as an official Philippines cinema release date.

While the film is set to be released in US cinemas in March, the Philippines will get it a bit later. It won’t be much later though as the next Ghostbusters film will be released in the Philippines on April 10.

In case you missed its reveal, Frozen Empire is the sequel of Ghostbusters: Afterlife which was released in 2021. In turn, Afterlife is a follow-up to the first two Ghostbusters movies.

For this upcoming film, the old crew must team up with their new recruits to save the world in New York City.

The film’s premise is described as:

“In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is coming to cinemas in the Philippines on April 10, 2024. More details, including the official cinema list, will be shared closer to its release date.
