The Philippine Game Development Expo will return in 2024 this July
PGDX 2024 is coming back this July with even more activities in store for Pinoy gamers.
After holding its successful first event in the middle of 2023, PGDX is coming back in 2024 this July at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Recently, the event confirmed that its 2024 event will take place from July 26 to 28, 2024, and it will take place specifically in Function Rooms 3 – 5 at the SMX Convention Center in the Mall of Asia complex. Along with the official dates and venues, the event also shared more details about what to expect in its next iteration.
This year’s event will be similar to last year in that there will be a focus on showcasing a lineup of games from indie developers. Aside from being a must-attend for indie game enthusiasts, the event also promises to be worth attending for those interested in diving deep into the world of game development.
Aside from the focus on game development, there will also be a Cosplay Competition that will be a key highlight of PGDX 2024. This is no surprise given how intertwined gaming and cosplay have become over the years.
Finally, the event will feature a range of interactive activities, panel discussions with industry experts, and opportunities for networking for industry folks. With the panels, those interested in the inner workings of the game development scene will get to hear it from the professionals in the space.
