Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 is coming on February 29

The next chapter of Honkai Impact 3rd is coming this Thursday!

After much anticipation, Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 is finally coming this Thursday, February 29, and it is a huge update that is sure to delight fans. That’s because Part 2 will continue the journey set up in Part 1.5 while introducing new characters, maps, monsters, and a whole lot more.

Part 2’s highlight are the three new characters, including Senadina, the lively and uplifting girl with striking red hair; Helia, the skilled warrior and reliable partner; and Coralie, the petite girl with a giant hammer as her weapon.

The game will also let players explore different places on Mars such as Oxia City, the modern meotropolis. There’s also Langqiu, a steampunk-style city.

Aside from new characters and lots of new locations, combat gameplay has also been optimized. For starters, new monsters are now more intelligent as they have more flexible combat mechanics. There will also be a focus on aerial combat as more characters will be able to fight in the air. These include the new character Senadina who can perform an aerial multi-combo.

Then, there’s the Astral Ring system which accumulates charge during fights and when full, can let characters enter a state that features burst skills.

To celebrate Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2, there will be a series of limited-time in-game events where various rewards are up for grabs, including Battlesuit Supply Cards, S-rank Battlesuit Option 2024, Anniversary Stigmata, and Anniversary Emblems. Plus, players can get theĀ  Coralie Character Card, her recommended weapon, and Anniversary Frame by exploring the main story chapter and completing main story tasks.

Finally, HoYoverse announced that there will be various offline collabs to look out for, including gear and peripherals from Razer and iBUYPOWER. More info on these will be revealed soon.
