Kung Fu Panda 4 Philippines cinema release date announced
Kung Fu Panda 4 is coming to PH cinemas this March!
It has been eight years since the last film, and finally, Kung Fu Panda 4 is coming to theaters soon, and it now has an official release date in the Philippines.
Announced back in 2022, Universal Pictures has finally confirmed that the fourth Kung Fu Panda movie will be released in the Philippines on March 6.

The first Kung Fu Panda movie was released back in 2008, and it has received two sequels which were released in 2011 and 2016, respectively. It may have taken much longer than before, but DreamWorks finally has the fourth installment ready, and it promises to be a fresh new adventure for Po.
Instead of featuring Po alongside the Furious Five, this new film will introduce lots of new characters as Po goes on a quest to find a successor.
The film’s story is described as:
“Po, the Dragon Warrior is called upon by destiny to… give it a rest already. More specifically, he’s tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace.
Before he can assume his new position (of which Po knows nothing about), he must first find and train a new Dragon Warrior. But a wicked, powerful sorceress, Chameleon, a tiny lizard who can shapeshift into any creature, has her greedy, beady little eyes on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to re-summon all the master villains whom Po has vanquished to the spirit realm.
To stop Chameleon, Po finds help in the form of crafty, quick-witted thief Zhen , a corsac fox who really gets under Po’s fur but whose skills will prove invaluable. In their quest to protect the Valley of Peace from Chameleon’s reptilian claws, this comedic odd-couple duo will have to work together. In the process, Po will discover that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.”
