Xiaomi 14 Series announced featuring next-generation Leica cameras
Xiaomi's newest flagship series brings enhanced Leica cameras, top-end SoCs, and more.
It has been a year since the 13 series was released, and finally, Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship Xiaomi 14 series.
This new flagship line from Xiaomi was revealed at an exclusive launch event held in Barcelona, Spain. There, details about the new Xiaomi 14 series (consisting of the 14 and 14 Ultra were shared), including their specs and pricing in Europe.
First up is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. This phone once again features Leica-branded cameras which promise to be even better than the ones on the 13 Series. Specifically, the 14 Ultra packs a 50MP main, a 50MP IMX858 telephoto, a 50MP IMX858 periscope telephoto, and a 50MP IMX858 ultra-wide camera. These shooters also feature two photo styles: Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant Look, as well as a variety of other shooting modes. At the front meanwhile is a 32MP selfie shooter.
Powering the 14 Ultra is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor that’s complemented by 26GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge plus 80W wireless HyperCharge.
As for its display, the Ultra features a 120Hz WQHD+ 6.73″ AMOLED screen with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG.
Moving forward to the base Xiaomi 14, this phone has a Leica multi-camera setup at the back which consists of a 50MP main, a 50/32MP (total/effective) telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide. Also at the front is a 32MP selfie camera.
This phone is also powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, this time with 12GB of RAM. It has a 4610mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge.
Finally, the Xiaomi 14 has a 120Hz LTPO 6.36″ AMOLED display which also has Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG ratings.

In Europe, the Xiaomi 14 is priced at EUR 999 while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a starting price of EUR 1,499.
The Xiaomi 14 Series price and availability in the Philippines will be revealed during the local launch on February 29.
