vivo teams up with ZEISS for the upcoming V30 Pro
The vivo V30 Pro will be the first V-series phone to feature ZEISS cameras.
vivo and ZEISS announced that they have teamed up once again for the V30 Pro cameras which promise to deliver great photography capabilities.
This partnership isn’t new as vivo and ZEISS have been working together since 2020 to deliver ZEISS-branded cameras for vivo’s flagship X series. Given ZEISS’ renown for top-notch lenses, the vivo X series phones of recent years featured unique camera features that emulate specific ZEISS lenses along with shooting options to give photos and videos a cinematic feel.
Previously, ZEISS cameras were only for the X series. Now though, the vivo V30 Pro will also come with a ZEISS-branded camera setup — a first for the premium mid-range V series.
As the V30 Series has not been launched yet, vivo hasn’t revealed the extent of the phone’s camera specs. What vivo did share is that the V30 Pro will come with a ZEISS triple main camera that promises to delivers superior color, contrast, sharpness, and depth in photos.
Portraits are no doubt going to be a key focus, but vivo says that the V30 Pro’s cameras should also deliver great results when capturing landscapes and selfies.
For now, there’s no word yet on when the vivo V30 Series will be launched, though the brand previously confirmed that the phone is coming to the Philippines.
