Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire becomes the biggest movie in the PH box office this year
Godzilla x Kong continues to dominate the PH box office even a month after its premiere.
It has been four weeks since the film was released in the country, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire continues to dominate the PH box office.
To be exact, the new Godzilla x Kong movie has reached PHP 100 million in the Philippine box office, making it the first movie of 2024 to do so as of this article’s writing. What’s more, the film topped the PH box office for four consecutive weeks.
This, coupled with the success of Dune: Part Two makes Warner Bros. the first studio to cross the USD 1 billion milestone in 2024. For reference, Dune: Part Two took home USD 700 million while Godzilla x Kong has a USD 485 million tally so far.
To celebrate the film’s release in the Philippines, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire teamed up with Burger Beast for two limited-time special burgers: the Double Umami Burger and Double Crispy Chicken which are available now until April 29, 2024.
As a treat for fans who have watched Godzilla x Kong in theaters, they can present their movie ticket to to Burger Beast branches to avail of a PHP 150 discount on their orders (minimum order of PHP 500).
