Paravox Gold Rush Tournament happening in Tokyo this July

This upcoming Paravox tournament has a big prize pool, and it will hold open qualifiers in June.

81RAVENS recently announced that the Paravox Gold Rush Tournament (PGRT) is happening on July 30 in Tokyo with a big JPY 100 million prize pool.

In the leadup to the tournament, 81RAVENS will also hold a series of Open Tournaments this June which will determine the top teams from Southeast Asia, Japan, North America, and LATAM.

To be exact, players in SEA will get to compete in an open qualifier so that players who aren’t in professional teams get a chance to show off their skills. Of course, the qualifier will be a tough one as playoff spots are only guaranteed for the top teams. Meanwhile, invited pro teams will advance automatically to the playoffs stage.

Currently, here are the invited teams for the upcoming tournament:

Japan

  • FENNEL
  • VARREL
  • REJECT
  • SCARZ
  • ZETA DIVISION

Southeast Asia

  • Alter Ego (Indonesia)
  • Attack All Around (Thailand)
  • Bleed Esports (Singapore)
  • Bren Esports (Philippines)
  • FULLSENSE (Thailand)

Aside from these ten teams, another batch of announcements will be made in mid-May featuring pro teams from SEA and other regions.

Finally, Paravox announced its official selection where players can be selected by pro teams. How it works is that the top 100 Paravox players will be shared weekly, and pro teams can select from these top talents to strengthen their lineup. Players will need to opt-in to the official selection by filling out an in-game form.
