Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance physical early purchase bonus revealed
Early buyers of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will get an exclusive set of SMT-themed playing cards.
With the game’s release just over a month away, SEGA announced the early purchase bonus for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance physical copies.
While the game is up for pre-order now digitally, players who prefer physical copies are in for a treat. That’s because those who buy the game early in disc form will get to take home a special set of playing cards that feature the characters from the new Shin Megami Tensei release.
These Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Playing Cards have a 5.8 cm width and 8.8 cm height, and they are only available as early purchase bonuses while stocks last this June when the game launches. So, you better get a copy of the game early if you want these cool collectibles.
In case you missed its reveal, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a re-release of SMT V, and it will be available on more platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. There will also be a Switch release of course.
This new version of Shin Megami Tensei V will feature the same story as the original, but with a major addition. Specifically, Vengeance will feature the Canon of Vengeance, a new storyline that can be accessed halfway through the game that features a different ending. The original story will also be there as the Canon of Creation.
Essentially, these story paths are the same in the first half, but the diverge heavily in the second half, adding extra replayability. The addition should also make it worth playing for those who have already played the original version.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 14, 2024.
