The Philippine Esports Awards is coming back on April 11, and this upcoming event is set to highlight and honor the athletes and personalities of the PH esports scene in 2023.
It’s fair to say that 2023 has been another highlight year for esports in the country, and this event will celebrate the scene. Taking place at he GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium in the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City on April 11, this event will feature some of the most notable names in the country’s esports scene from a wide variety of titles.
“There have been many significant advances in the nation’s esports efforts this year, with AP Bren winning the M5 World Championships and the Philippines hosting the MLBB World Championships, among other notable achievements,” said Raymund Liboro, Executive Director of the Philippine Esports Awards.
“We are introducing new awards, including lifetime awards, esports company of the year, stage host of the year, desk host of the year, and manager of the year, to honor more key esports trailblazers in our country. This year and in the future, we will incorporate more esports expert discussions into the awards selection process. “
