ASUS recently unveiled the Vivobook S 15, the brand’s first Copilot+ PC that’s made in collaboration with Microsoft and Qualcomm.

This new laptop was announced after Microsoft’s recent special event which introduced the new Copilot+ PCs. So, what exactly are these? Well, Copilot+ PCs are new Windows PCs that promise great performance and pack an array of AI features. You can think of it as a specific lineup of laptops, though they are made by an array of partners including ASUS.

Aside from AI, what makes the Copilot+ PCs interesting is the fact that the first-generation devices are powered by Qualcomm Arm chips. This isn’t the first time that Microsoft is trying to push Arm chips on Windows devices, but it might be the most promising. Of course, that’s not to say that Copilot+ PC AI tech will be Qualcomm-only as there will be AMD and Intel versions sometime in the future.

For the Vivobook S 15 (S5507), ASUS packed the laptop with up to a Snapdragon X Elite platform which integrates a CPU, NPU, and GPU. It also has up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe® 4.0 SSD storage.

As for its screen, the laptop has a 15.6” 16:9 (2880 x 1620) 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display. There are also a wealth of I/O ports, including two USB 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, on HDMI 2.1, one audio combo jack, and one MicroSD card reader.
