After a successful, action-packed event last March, fans can get hyped for Dexcon: Dekada. a tenth anniversary celebration of modern professional wrestling in the Philippines. Join the fun this May 25 for a special meet and greet and wrestle bazaar at Collective Base B2 in Greenhills and an intensely fun wrestling show at Brawl Pit Bulusan, Quezon City on May 26.
Dexcon: Dekada brings us an international dream match featuring the Best Technical Wrestler of the Decade, Zack Sabre Jr. taking on “Mr. Philippine Wrestling” Jake De Leon.
Dexcon: Dekada will also feature a marquee match-up between Fabio Makisig and Jomar. Titles will be on the line as Saint John Martin (SJM) and Ken Cifer of TZK will defend their belts against The Pinoy Bulldog and Zera. There will be an International Tag Team match as Robin Sane and R O M E O will team up for the first time to take on Singapore’s top tag team in Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman, the duo known as “The Horrors”.
Jake De Leon vs. Zack Sabre Jr. – International Dream Match
Jake De Leon (JDL) goes one-on-one with Zack Sabre Jr. (ZSJ) in the main event for an international dream match you don’t want to miss. After facing Masahiro Takanashi and Chris Brookes at Dexcon: Wrestlestorm and retaining his MWF Pinoy Wrestling Championship against Rex Lawin, JDL will face his biggest test yet in the form of ZSJ. Zack Sabre Jr., a former NJPW Television Champion and IWGP Tag Team Champion, has wrestled across the world and has faced the best competition. For Zack, he will face the best that the Philippines has to offer, none other than “Mr. Philippine Wrestling” himself.
Turn Zero Kill (Saint John Martin and Ken Cifer) vs. The Pinoy Bulldog and Zera
Turn Zero Kill (TZK) had two successful title defenses for the WUW Tag Team Championship during Wrestlestorm and Kasaysayan 2024. But at Dexcon: Dekada, they meet two familiar foes in Zera and the Pinoy Bulldog. The Pinoy Bulldog is a fixture not only to WUW PH but also in Philippine Pro Wrestling history, having wrestled in the 80s and 90s. Zera, on the other hand, looks to regain the WUW Tag Belts he lost back in December. It’s a tag team battle that looks to transcend generations.
Fabio Makisig vs. Jomar
Dexcon: Dekada will also showcase a marquee matchup featuring two of Japanese wrestling icon Tajiri’s top students in the Philippines, Fabio Makisig vs. Jomar. The man formerly known as Jomar Liwanag looks to capture his first singles victory over Fabio Makisig. The two battled back in 2018 with Fabio Makisig getting the upper hand. Fabio, a former MWF Champion, will be looking to get back in the winning column after he lost to Jomar recently in a tag team match featuring their sensei.
Robin Sane and R O M E O vs. The Horrors (Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman)
Dexcon: Dekada will see Robin Sane and R O M E O take on one of their biggest challenges in The Horrors. While falling short against SETUP Thailand’s Shivam, Robin Sane made quite a statement at Dexcon:Wrestlestorm and is hungry for more international competition. R O M E O, on the other hand, made his triumphant in-ring return in Dexcon: Wrestlestorm. He and Robin Sane are set to face one of Singapore’s deadliest tag teams comprised of Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman The current SPW Southeast Asian Tag Team Champions will put their belts on the line as they make their return to Philippine soil. This will be the first time the Philippine fans will see The Horrors together inside a wrestling ring–and things just might get bloody.
Dexcon: Dekada will also feature other local talent from the Philippines. Favorites like “The God Killer” Dabid Ravena, Main Maxx, and Razael will be in action. Don’t forget to catch your bestie AFAM Steve and the hard hitting Rex Lawin. Be on the lookout for other surprise guests during the show.
