Disney just announced a Disney+ pop-up event that’s happening at SM Mall of Asia beginning Thursday, May 23.
To be exact, this event will happen from May 23 to 26 at the Mall of Asia atrium. There, attendees can enjoy an array of themed areas that promise to mirror each of their unique movie and series interests.
Since its launch in the Philippines back in late 2022, Disney+ has become one of the most popular streaming platforms for Filipino viewers, especially as the platform is home to lots of original Marvel and Star Wars titles, along with a bunch of other exciting titles.
While Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars content is no doubt going to be highlighted at the pop-up, Disney’s press release mentioned that the event will also put the spotlight on a wide array of titles in various genres, including Asian originals.
It’s not clear yet what exactly attendees can experience at the pop-up, but what’s confirmed is that it will feature Disney+ zones, each set to introduce new stories. These zones will feature titles that focus on various topics, including food, music, documentaries, reality shows, and more.
As such, it won’t just be limited to the big franchises, meaning this pop-up event may give attendees more titles to put on their watch list.
