ASUS unveils the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 Tri-Band WiFi 7 gaming router

ASUS ROG unveiled its next-gen gaming router at Computex 2024.

After unveiling the Ally X, ASUS ROG revealed some new gaming tech at Computex 2024, including the new ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 Tri-Band WiFi 7 gaming router.

As the latest gaming router from ASUS ROG, this model promises to deliver ultra-fast wireless speeds of up to 19Gbps thanks to its WiFi 7 connectivity. While most home internet connections don’t get this fast (at least in the Philippines right now), this should make the router future-proof, especially for gamers and high-bandwidth users looking to upgrade their internet connections in the future. In a wired configuration, the router can support speeds of up to 31 Gbps.

What’s more, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 also features Automatic Frequency Coordination which automatically checks the WiFi environment and chooses the least congested channel in the 6 GHz band. This should make for a more stable connection for your devices.

Aside from fast connections, the router also features Multi-Link Operation support for its Smart AiMesh feature. To be exact, this feature prioritizes high-demand packets to the faster band which should make for a buffer-free gaming and streaming experience.

The Multi-Link Operation support also extends to other ASUS and ROG WiFi 7 routers, including the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro, ROG Rapture GT-BE98, ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro (BE30000), ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 and ASUS RT-BE88U.

The ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE19000’s price and availability will be announced soon.
