MSI is bringing back its Creator Awards for 2024, and submissions are now open to creators around the world until August 11.
For those unfamiliar, the Creator Awards is MSI’s initiative to give creators a platform to show off their skills. This year, the awards’ theme is “A Fusion of Art and Technology” and it will feature four categories: Graphic Design, Animation, Film, and AI-Generated Works.
The first three categories will be evaluated by industry professionals while the AI category winners will be selected by public voting, with the winners in each category getting a share of the USD 60,000 prize pool. Along with the prize money, MSI laptops and a 1-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud will also be up for grabs.
Having AI as a category may be a bit unusual given how the awards celebrates creatives, but this is in line with MSI’s (along with pretty much every tech brand at this point) AI push. After all, MSI revealed its generative AI software called the AI Artist which allows users of the brand’s newest laptops and devices to get AI-generated images for use as references. This AI software is also usable offline.
Submissions for the MSI Creator Awards 2024 will be accepted from now until August 11, 2024. For more details, visit the official website.
