Earlier this year, OPPO unveiled the Find X7 Ultra, the brand’s flagship that packs an impressive array of cameras with a 1-inch sensor and HyperTone Image Engine.
To be exact, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra main camera uses a LYT-900 1-inch sensor from Sony that’s made specifically for mobile devices. Without getting too technical, sensor size is a key factor in image quality, with a bigger sensor size typically meaning better quality images. As such, the Find X7 Ultra should deliver great results for photography, especially as many phones typically have smaller sensors. The main shooter also has an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, coupled with a 23mm optical focal length.
Complementing the main camera is a 50MP ultrawide shooter with Sony LYT-600 sensor. On top of this, the phone packs a 50MP 3x periscope zoom with a Sony IMX890 sensor and Prism OIS, as well as a 50MP 6x periscope telephoto camera with a Sony IMX858 sensor, also with Prism OIS.
For better results, OPPO packed the phone with its HyperTone Image Engine which is the brand’s computational photography tech. Essentially, it’s what OPPO calls the phone’s image processing software, and it promises to capture photos with a lot of detail, all without the unnatural over-processed look that other photos may have.
While the phone hasn’t been launched in the Philippines yet, it may arrive in the country soon as it is being highlighted by OPPO PH. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see if it does eventually arrive in PH shores.
