After sharing new details about the game’s demons and mechanics, SEGA and Atlus released the third trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, and it highlights the Canon of Vengeance.
In this trailer, players are given a look at the new dungeon and demon allies that appear in the game’s new route. What’s more, it also lets them learn more about Apotheosis.

In case you missed its reveal, Vengeance is a re-release of Shin Megami Tensei V, but there are many key differences. For starters, this version is finally bringing the game to more platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. After all, the original SMTV was a Switch-exclusive.
That’s not to say this is simply a multi-platform version of the game though as it features loads of new content. The highlight is no doubt the Canon of Vengeance, a brand-new route that starts halfway through the game. In this route, the story differs massively from the original, giving those who played the original game a fresh experience. Of course, the original story is also here, and it’s now called the Canon of Creation.
Along with this big story update, the game also features new features, including battle system improvements, a new area, and more.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is launching on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 14, 2024.
