Diablo IV reveals 2025 roadmap, revealing what’s next in The Age of Hatred
The next expansion was also confirmed to release next year!

Blizzard today revealed the official Diablo IV 2025 roadmap, giving fans an idea of what to expect as The Age of Hatred continues.
As The Vessel of Hatred expansion was released just last October 2024, it will be a while before the next expansion is released. Despite this, the game’s new 2025 roadmap gives us a good idea of what to expect regarding new Diablo IV content that will be released in the comning months.
The year’s first quarter already featured the addition of Witchcraft Powers and Occult Gems, so it should be great news for players that more seasonal themes and questlines will be released in the next three quarters of the year. These will all lead up to the new expansion that will launch sometime in 2026.
Here’s a look at the 2025 roadmap:
As you can see above, 2025 will feature lots of seasonal quests, along with permanent game additions. What’s most interesting here though are the new IP collabs that are scheduled for the second and fourth quarters of 2025.
An IP collab may seem unusual for Diablo, though it’s not surprising given that IP crossovers have become quite popular in other Blizzard games like Overwatch. Thus, these collabs, along with the 2-year anniversary event, are no doubt the most exciting things to watch out for in 2025 when it comes to Diablo.
Diablo 4 and the Vessel of Hatred expansion are out now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
