Level Infinite PH announces partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila
This partnership aims to expand LPU's esports initiatives.
Level Infinite, the publisher of games such as Honor of Kings and NIKKE, recently announced its esports education partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila (LPU).
As one of the premier universities in Manila that offers esports programs, this partnership is a great fit. After all, with this partnership, Level Infinite aims to enhance LPU Manila’s esports initiatives, as well as enhance esports management and game development education.
Specifically, the collaboration will have three key initiatives which are:
- Internship Opportunities with Level Infinite PH – LPU students will have the opportunity to intern at Level Infinite’s Philippine team, to get hands-on experience in game publishing, marketing, esports management, and community engagement.
- Knowledge Sharing to Enhance Esports Management and Game Development Curriculum – Level Infinite and LPU will collaborate on curriculum development and knowledge exchange programs to ensure LPU’s classes are at the cutting edge of esports and gaming developments.
- Collaborations through Regular Honor of Kings and PUBG MOBILE Tournaments at LPU—LPU will host regular Honor of Kings and PUBG MOBILE tournaments on campus during key university events, giving students more avenues to practice not only their gaming abilities but also their organization and esports broadcasting skills.
Regarding the strategic parntership, Benj Dalmacio, Senior Business Development Manager at Level Infinite PH, said: “We are excited to partner with LPU Manila to cultivate the next generation of gaming and esports professionals. Through this initiative, we aim to provide students with firsthand experience in the gaming and esports industry, contribute to LPU‘s curriculum development, and support campus grassroots esports initiatives for our games.
Meanwhile, Dr. Arlene Caballero, Dean of the College of Technology at LPU Manila, had this to say about the collaboration: “At LPU, we are committed to providing our students with industry-relevant opportunities that enhance their academic journey. This partnership with Level Infinite is a major step in preparing our students for gaming, technology, and esports careers, ensuring they are well-equipped for the evolving digital landscape.”
This is not the first time that Lyceum of the Philippines University has teamed up with Level Infinite though. Previously, LPU Manila hosted Honor of Kings’ grassroots tournaments during the game’s pre-launch phase. Soon, LPU will also participate in the upcoming Kings Campus Series (KCS) tournament which will give student gamers a chance to win a lion’s share of the PHP 500,000 prize pool worth of scholarships and stipends.
